Club rules

 

1. International Players' Club Quadriga ( further called IPC Quadriga ) is an open sport association created for the purpose of playing and promoting the classic board game Quadriga.

2. The venue of IPC Quadriga activities is the global Internet.

3. The organizer and administrator of IPC Quadriga is ProCorde Foundation with its headquarters located in Poland, to whom all the copyrights ( on all fields of exploitation ) belong.

4. The chairman of IPC Quadriga is a current Chairman of ProCorde Foundation or a person to whom this post is delegated by the Chairman.

5. The activities of IPC Quadriga are realized and presented on club's internet sites placed within the ProCorde website structure to be found at http://www.procorde.pl/ . The above internet address of ProCorde foundation and its e-mail address fundacja@procorde.pl are the official addresses for IPC Quadriga.

6. The language of IPC Quadriga:

1. the official languages for presenting the game on the Internet and for correspondence as well as club communiqué are Polish and English;

2. further languages are introduced once the number of club members from a given country or countries reaches the number of 100 natural persons;

3. in case of interpretation doubts the decisive interpretation is one arising from the spirit and grammar of the Polish language.

7. The members of IPC Qudriga are entitled to:

1. register the scores of their games on appropriate club ranking websites and participate in reward schemes for achievements in a given time period - the above applies only to the members of the club being natural persons;

2. independently organize events and tournaments popularizing the game upon prior registering them with IPC Quadriga. In such cases the actions of a club member do not infringe upon ProCorde Foundation copyrights to Quadriga;

3. place Quadriga on their websites with the purpose of popularizing the game without the right to independent placement of commercial banners and commercial links to third parties' websites on the game websites. The above is only allowed upon ProCorde Foundation's permission and to be realized through a club's webmaster chosen by the foundation.

8. Membership of IPC Quadriga:

1. Membership in IPC Quadriga assumes three forms:

1. Honorary Members - only natural persons;

2. Ordinary Members - only natural persons;

3. Corporate Members - institutions, companies, corporations and other legal persons.

2. membership is voluntary;

3. membership of natural persons is not a subject of any limitations resulting from: social class origin, race, sex, age, sexual preference, political and religious beliefs or lack of such, education, membership in other clubs or associations, country of residence or country of origin;

4. members of the club in all published letters, lists and other club documents are always identified by their own full first name, surname and only the place and country of residence or origin;

5. detailed private addresses of the club members are reserved;

6. members of the club agree to internet and press publishing of their images in connection to their membership in the club and using their e-mail addresses for marketing purposes;

7. Ordinary Members and Corporate Members are obliged to place their e-mail addresses on the club's membership lists;

8. the list of Honorary Members contains also their:

1. social status

2. occupied post

3. the name of the institution or corporation whose member or representative the person is;

9. Membership in IPC Quadriga is acquired through:

1. Honorary Members:

1. invitation by the Board of ProCorde Foundation

2. invitation by other Honorary Members

3. registering people recommended by a Corporate Member

4. designating by Chairman of IPC Quadriga ten Ordinary Members holding best scores in the Grand Tournament for a past calendar year - from that moment they are exempt from paying the membership fee;

2. Ordinary Members filling in the Membership Declaration;

3. Corporate Members - paying a yearly membership fee of at least $600, or an equivalent in another currency ( the above mentioned fee is VAT-free and assumes the form of a donation to cover organizational needs and statutory aims of the foundation ProCorde);

10. Expiration of membership in IPC Quadriga happens through:

1. submitting written resignation ( e-mail format is sufficient );

2. not paying due membership fee in due time.

11. The above entitle the Chairman of IPC Quadriga to remove resigning members from internet membership lists.

12. The resigning people or those removed from membership lists on the statutory bases, retain their gained scores, places and points on ranking lists, and, for this reason their names, surnames, places and countries of residence or origin and scores remain on those lists. Due to the sporting nature of these rankings the above mentioned people cannot demand to be removed from those ranking lists.

13. In case of doubts and in all disputes concerning the club regulations and the rules of Quadriga, the ultimate interpretation is to be provided by the Chairman of IPC Quadriga on behalf of ProCorde Foundation.
